Business Evolution was established June 2007 by Sarah Coleman and Andrew Barratt to help businesses develop the capability and capacity they require to achieve their ambitions. Both directors have strong commercial and management experience at senior levels across a variety of industry sectors. Sarah ColemanSarah Coleman is a twice award-winning high growth business coach and management consultant. She began her career in ICT, first with central government before moving into the private sector and then on to management consulting. During her career, she has gained extensive commercial, information systems and man management experience across a wide range of industry sectors at senior and board level. Sarah has a strong reputation for leading high-profile, organisational change and complex strategic programmes. She specialises in developing and implementing strategic change programmes and leadership coaching – having designed, implemented and managed major change and improvement programmes for privately owned businesses, PLCs and professional services organisations. As a result of her work, she has helped many organisations to bring about shifts in direction, shape, culture, performance and behaviour. Sarah is also a guest lecturer in Implementing Strategic Change at Cranfield School of Management and at Nottingham Law School on their MBA courses. These lectures cover the academic and theoretical but, most importantly, they also powerfully illustrate the actual hands-on experience and 'war stories' behind the models. Andrew BarrattAndrew Barratt began his career as a geologist in open cast mining before joining the British Army, rising to Lieutenant Colonel. He was responsible for major MoD programmes in Operational Requirements and the Procurement Executive. After leaving the Army, he elected to work as a Management Consultant typically working at Board level, then becoming UK & European Managing Director and Board Director for a US defence company providing virtual simulation and training across the globe. Andrew specialises in the defence and security industry, and in sales and marketing. |
Awards, accreditations and affiliations Sarah Coleman holds fellowships with the Institute of Leadership and Management, the Institute of Business Consulting and the Chartered Management Institute. She is Member of the International Coach Federation and of the Institute of Directors and she is registered on the UK National Register of Business Consultants. In 2009 Sarah won the Institute of Business Consulting Award and the Growth Enabler Professional Excellence Award 2009 supported by emda. |
